This Refund and Cancellation Policy applies to all Library Isle subscription plans, Starter, Reader, Explorer, BookLover, and Classroom, and is incorporated into the Library Isle Terms of Service.
1. Free Trial
Library Isle offers a seven day free trial. Cancelling before the trial period ends prevents any charge from occurring. If the trial is not cancelled before it ends, it converts automatically into a paid subscription at the plan's stated monthly or annual rate, and this Policy applies from that point forward.
2. Monthly Subscriptions
There are no refunds for the current month's subscription charge. A Member may cancel a monthly subscription at any time before the end of the current billing month. Cancelling stops all future charges, and the Member retains access to the Service through the remainder of the month already paid for. No partial refund is issued for the unused portion of a month in which a cancellation is made.
3. Annual Subscriptions
Annual subscription payments are non-refundable in full or in part. A Member may cancel an annual subscription at any time to prevent it from renewing for a subsequent year, but the current annual payment already made is not refunded, and the Member retains access to the Service through the remainder of the paid annual term.
4. Classroom Licenses
Classroom licenses are quoted and invoiced individually and may be subject to separate cancellation and refund terms set out in the order form or agreement signed with the purchasing school, daycare, or institution. Where no separate terms are agreed, the monthly or annual terms in Sections 2 and 3 apply based on the billing cycle selected.
5. How to Cancel
A Member may initiate cancellation from the Billing submenu under their Profile page within the Service. All refund and cancellation requests, including any request to confirm or dispute a cancellation, must be submitted in writing to team@libraryisle.com. A cancellation is effective as of the date the written request is received or the date processed through the Billing submenu, whichever applies.
6. Billing Errors
This Policy does not limit a Member's right to dispute a charge that was made in error, such as a duplicate charge or a charge after a subscription was properly cancelled before the billing date. Billing error disputes should be submitted in writing to team@libraryisle.com and may also be raised directly with Paddle, our payment processor, consistent with Paddle's own buyer support process.
7. Applicable Law
Where a law that cannot be waived by agreement requires a refund, cooling-off period, or other remedy not described in this Policy, that law controls to the extent required, and this Policy applies in all other respects.
